My Process...

These are some of my ideas.





This is what i made, carp. I wanted to use carp because I think this is something different and i think nice to use negative spaces to show carp.






This is a maple leaf. i want to use some pattern using this.



My Idea 1





This is my idea using carp. It may be hard to tell, but i made carp in different size to show the rhythm. I haven't decide what color I want for the background...




My Idea 2



I thought it would be nice to have cherry blossom picture since we already have many cherry blossom in here, Oregon.




My Idea 3



I think I like this picture more than the other.



My Idea 4



I thought this is cool because using one piece of cherry blossom, it creates like a background using three different colors. I like the colors that were used.




My Idea 5



This is what I designed using a piece of male leaf. I used colors to show the three different colors that maple leaves have.



My Idea6



This is what I designed based on Japanese traditional patterns. I chose this color because green is good for our eyes, so I thought it would be nice to make the Art Building green. Many student use computer for their work, so it wold be nice to have green color for student to rest their eyes by looking at the building.




My Idea 7



I design this based on big waves. I like this pattern and colors.
